The decision
Designed to put itself out of business, a debt app that wins when you stop needing it. And it inverts the addictive-app playbook: kept the craft, threw out the cruelty, so guilt becomes partnership.
Proof
- A design system built as a drama of weight and relief: ink for the weight, gold only for a win, warm paper for the calm.
- Grounded in research: the money-stress threads on Reddit, plus dopamine, gamification, and mascot-app studies, against a category stuck in the rear-view mirror.
- Same method as Norte: the system written as rules an AI executes, so the second product moved faster than the first.
